Ezra, a Levite, returned with other Babylonian exiles.
Post-Flood lineage: Zadok > Shallum > Hilkiah > Azariah > Seraiah > Ezra
The full lineage back to Aaron is given in 1 Chronicles 6:1-15; but because 2 males named Zadok appear in the family line, Ezra 7:1-5 accidentally skips over a few generations. Three other males named Zadok are named in the Bible; but none of the others match the family line. Nehemiah 12:12 named Meraiah as another descendant to Seraiah; but, this is the only reference to that person.
Due to their shared lineage, it appears that Ezra might have been brother to Jehozadak, who was taken into captivity by the Babylonians. 2 Kings 25:18 and Jeremiah 52:24 reported Seraiah as the "chief priest" that got deported with the others to Babylon. In Jeremiah 52, verses 26-27, it sounded like Nebuzaradan killed the prisoners he took at "Riblah, in the land of Hamath". The father of Ezra and Jehozadak was probably among them.
Ahitub > Zadok > Shallum > Hilkiah > Azariah > Seraiah > Jehozadak - 1 Chronicles 6:12-14
Ahitub > Zadok > Shallum > Hilkiah > Azariah > Seraiah > Ezra - Ezra 7:1-3
So, another person named Seraiah returned with the exiles in Ezra 2:2 and
Nehemiah 12:1.
His lineage seems to have been recorded in Nehemiah 11:11
Read the Book of Ezra including the completion of the Temple rebuild in Ezra 6.
Ezra 6:14-16 stated:
14. So the elders of the Jews continued to build and prosper under the preaching of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah, a descendant of Iddo. They finished building the temple
according to the command of the God of Israel and the decrees of Cyrus, Darius and Artaxerxes, kings of Persia.
15. The temple was completed on the third day of the month Adar, in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius.
16. Then the people of Israel--the priests, the Levites and the rest of the exiles--celebrated the dedication of the house of God with joy.
