Five people named Sheba and at least one place named Sheba were mentioned in the Old Testament. 4 of the 5 were Semites while the other was from the lineage of Ham. Joshua 19:2 suggested that some also knew the town of Beersheba as Sheba. The region of Sheba existed on the Arabian peninsula and was well known for trading with king Solomon. It's quite possible that the region of Sheba was named after Abraham's grand-son through Keturah. Both 1 Kings 10 and 2 Chronicles 9 spoke about the the queen of Sheba.
