Birth: 1 Samuel 1:19-20

Death: (not stated)

Father: Elkanah

Mother: Hannah

3 brothers and 2 sisters - 1 Samuel 2:21

There are conflicting lineages between 1 Chronicles 6 and 1 Samuel 1:1 for his family line because there were several males named Elkanah in 1 Chronicles 6 as well as one other male named Zuph who was listed as an ancestor of Heman the musician (who doesn't seem to fit the right time frame). So, I'll merely note Elkanah as Samuel's father.

Post-Flood lineage: Elkanah > Samuel > Joel and Abijah

Joel and Abijah - 1 Samuel 8:2; 1 Chronicles 6:28
