Both men named Hezron appeared in Genesis 46:8-12 as descendants of Jacob (Israel):
8. These are the names of the sons of Israel (Jacob and his descendants) who went to Egypt: Reuben the firstborn of Jacob.
9. The sons of Reuben: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.
10. The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jakin, Zohar and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman.
11. The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
12. The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, Shelah, Perez and Zerah (but Er and Onan had died in the land of Canaan). The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.
The first man was a descendant of Jacob through Leah's firstborn son.
Jacob > Reuben > Hezron - Genesis 46:8-9 (above), Exodus 6:14, Numbers 26:6 and
1 Chronicles 5:3.
The other man named Hezron was a descendant through Jacob's daughter-in-law, Tamar.
Jacob > Judah > Perez > Hezron - Genesis 46:8,12 (above) and 1 Chronicles 2:5 and 4:1
In 1 Chronicles 2:24, Hezron "died in Caleb Ephrathah" (which later became known as Bethlehem).
Ruth 4:18-19:
18. This, then, is the family line of Perez: Perez was the father of Hezron,
19. Hezron the father of Ram, Ram the father of Amminadab,
20. Amminadab the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon,
21. Salmon the father of Boaz, Boaz the father of Obed,
22. Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of David.
Both Matthew 1:3 and Luke 3:33 stated Hezron as an
ancestor to Joseph, the man who raised Jesus as his own.
While verse 3 named a town named Hezron, there's also a reference in verse 25 that may indicate that Hazor was a city where Hezron lived.
Joshua 15:1-6, 21-32:
1. The allotment for the tribe of Judah, clan by clan, extended down to the territory of Edom, to the Desert of Zin in the extreme south.
2. Their southern boundary started from the bay at the southern end of the Salt Sea,
3. crossed south of Scorpion Pass, continued on to Zin and went over to the south of Kadesh Barnea. Then it ran past Hezron up to Addar and curved around to Karka.
4. It then passed along to Azmon and joined the Wadi of Egypt, ending at the sea. This is their southern boundary.
5. The eastern boundary is the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan. The northern boundary started from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan,
6. went up to Beth Hoglah and continued north of Beth Arabah to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben.
...
21. The southernmost towns of the tribe of Judah in the Negev toward the boundary of Edom were: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,
22. Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,
23. Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan,
24. Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,
25. Hazor Hadattah, Kerioth Hezron (that is, Hazor),
26. Amam, Shema, Moladah,
27. Hazar Gaddah, Heshmon, Beth Pelet,
28. Hazar Shual, Beersheba, Biziothiah,
29. Baalah, Iim, Ezem,
30. Eltolad, Kesil, Hormah,
31. Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,
32. Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain and Rimmon--a total of twenty-nine towns and their villages.
